What I ate:
Starter: Cornbread Muffin
Entree: North Carolina Shrimp & Grits
Dessert: Ricotta Donuts with no chocolate sauce
I was able to visit this restaurant after going to the museum with my mom and her sorority sisters. Its kind of fancy, but regular too. I did feel comfortable there.
Our servers name was John. He remembered everything; I know that has to be a tough job. I’m sorry to say this, but I didn’t like the grits. The shrimp were great though and had lots of flavor. I loved the cornbread muffin a lot too.
John made a great suggestion about the ricotta donuts, I loved them. Since we were there with a group, I was able to taste some other desserts at the table too. My mom’s lemon tart and my friends crème brule were great too.
How did they measure up?
