What I Ate:

Raspberry Soft Serve

Funnel Cake Fries

So I finally got to go the infamous Soda Pop Shop down at The Wharf and I was definitely not disappointed.

The shop was cute and had a nice easy breezy feel. I especially liked their signage, and menu.  They were so adorable. I had heard about the shop having long lines due to its popularity, so I was happy when we got there and there wasn’t a long line. The lady taking my order was nice and made sure she had everything correct. Wearing a mask and ordering can be a little challenging, but safety first! My order didn’t take long at all.

So now the Raspberry soft serve. It tasted like raspberry sherbet, which I was not expecting. I thought it would taste more creamy like regular, but it didn’t. That’s not a bad thing though. It exceeded my expectations which is great! The taste and flavor was a mix of tangy and sweet and it had a soft texture. I wonder what the regular ice cream scoops taste like? I might have to go back and try some.

Speaking of going back to get desserts. I cannot end this blog without talking about the funnel cake fries, wow! They were great. Nice and crispy, but sweet and that’s without the powdered sugar. Adding the powdered sugar is the cherry on top to these dessert fries. I'll be going back to get those again, definitely.

So how did they measure up?

5 stars
