What I ate:
Calabrese hot wings
White label burger
First off, I really liked the feel of the restaurant. It has modern yet rustic décor which I like. They have a few portraits and pictures of historical figures, that look really cool and accent the place well. I also loved the light fixtures. They were a bit industrial, and added to the rustic feel of the place. From all the touches used to decorate, my favorite were the candles. They were scattered around most of the restaurant and they seemed to complete the vibe.
Our main servers name was Edmond. Though multiple servers helped us out. Overall the service at Nicoletta was good.
Now let’s get into these wings. They looked soo appetizing. Just looking at them, the wings looked pretty spicy, but when I tasted them they weren’t extremely hot. The sauce that makes the wings look spicy is sweet while the wing itself is spicier than the sauce. The honey and chilly that give the wings its flavor actually makes a really great and interesting combo.
Lastly let’s discuss the white label burger. It’s sooooo tasty. I love that they used a brioche bun, and how that sweetness plays off the smokiness of the cheese on the burger. I don’t know what type of tomato they used or if they seasoned them but, the tomato added an extra level of great flavor to the burger. The burger meat itself was very juicy! When eating this, I had to take a few bites at a time because it was that good. The burger was also accompanied by some potatoes shaped kind of like a chip. The potatoes tasted like baked potatoes which I enjoyed. The flavors of the baked potatoes and the burger went nicely together, and I’d be happy to go back and try them again.
How did they measure up?
