What I ate:
Ellies tis Elladas (Greek Olives)
Piyaz (warm giant beans, kale, oven roasted tomato)
Sish Taouk (grilled chicken thighs)
Turkish Delight (walnut ice cream, yogurt mousse, orange caramel sauce)
The ambiance of this place is nice and classy and comfortable. My servers name was James. He was nice, but he didn’t come to our table often. Him as one other guy did bring us a lot of bread.
Speaking of bread, the bread here is great. Its different because its like a bubble that’s nice light and airy. I wonder how they made it puff open in the middle like that. Also, my lemonade was real fresh and reminded me of the bubbles that are in Sprite.
The olives came out first and I really did want to try them, but I guess I really don’t like olives. They tasted kind of sour and the seasons on top didn’t taste like anything. My mom likes sour stuff so she liked these.
Now, if you want something lemony and good, you have to get the Piyaz. The broth was good and tangy, but the beans helped with the tangy flavor. The kale was really goos and crisp in there. I wish I had more of this.
The chicken was really good. It had a nice char flavor that wasn’t overpowering. Also, it was juicy and tender so I’d say it was pretty good.
My dessert was awesome! I really liked the ice cream because it tasted like chocolate ice cream with graham cracker bits and yogurt.
How did they measure up?
